Teaching Assistant- Hackney
Description✓Destination Education are seeking SEN teaching assistants to join one of our Ofsted rated good primary schools in East London on a full time basis, starting in the new academic year.
✓Based in Hackney, Stoke Newington, this unique and welcoming two form entry school that believes that every child has the right to reach their potential
✓The school understands that as the world is ever-changing, potential will blossom if children are prepared for life with the skills to advance, adapt and grow.
✓The role will be to mainly support children across nursery to KS2 who need extra assistance in the classroom, whilst providing support for teaching and learning and associated activities in accordance with school policies and procedures.
✓The school will be holding fully paid trial days over the summer period for those interested and successful candidates will join in September 2023.
✓Please note the hours for this position are Monday- Friday, 8:30am-3:45pm.
✓The ideal candidate will have/be able to:
✓Passion for working with children who require additional support in order to maximise their full potential
✓Be flexible, proactive and patient
✓Able to build strong rapport with students and staff
✓Experience working in an educational environment
✓SEN experience
✓Strong behavioural management skills
✓Team Player
✓Keep accurate records
