Teaching Assistant- Hackney
Description✓A welcoming Ofsted rated good primary school in East London are seeking a proactive teaching assistant on a full time basis, starting in June.
✓Based in Hackney, this school believes providing a caring, safe and inclusive environment which supports creativity and encourages the aspirations of children and the community.
✓The role will be to mainly work 1:1 to support a reception child who is non-verbal, whilst providing support for teaching and learning and associated activities in accordance with school policies and procedures.
✓The school will be holding fully paid trial days after half term for those interested and successful candidates will join in June 2023.
✓Please note the hours for this position are Monday- Friday, 8:30am-4pm.
✓The ideal candidate will have/be able to:
✓Passion for working with children who require additional support in order to maximise their full potential
✓Be flexible, proactive and patient
✓Able to build strong rapport with students and staff
✓Experience working in an educational environment
✓SEN experience desirable
✓Strong behavioural management skills
✓Team Player
✓Keep accurate records
