Description✓Year 5 Class Teaching Assistant
✓LTF Recruitment currently have a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join the support team of our fantastic partner school in Hackney providing support for pupils, specifically within Key Stage 2
✓The successful candidate will need to have relevant experience and/or qualifications in working with primary-aged children
✓We are also looking for the successful applicant to have a proven high standard of both spoken and written English and Mathematics
✓Being able to communicate effectively with children and adults is essential, together with a friendly and approachable manner
✓The successful candidate will be able to work using their own initiative and can demonstrate effective behaviour management skills.
✓Main Duties:
✓To provide teaching support in small groups and where necessary work with individual pupils to the highest standards.
✓Assist the implementation of Individual Education Programmes for pupils and help monitor their progress.
✓Assist the teacher in monitoring progress by keeping a daily observation record and maintain special needs records as required.
✓To assist teachers in day-to-day classroom duties as required e.g
✓with preparation of the classroom, material and displays to ensure outstanding teaching.
✓Reinforce the behaviour policy and aim to raise self-esteem and encourage independent working.
✓Work with other professionals, such as Speech Therapists and Educational Psychologists, as necessary.About The School:
