✓As a Primary Teaching Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting our experienced teaching staff in delivering high-quality education to our students
✓You will work closely with the class teacher to create a positive and engaging learning environment
✓Your responsibilities will include assisting with lesson preparation, providing one-on-one support to students, and helping to maintain a safe and orderly classroom setting
✓Additionally, you will contribute to the overall pastoral care and well-being of our students.
✓Responsibilities:
✓Collaborate with the class teacher to plan and prepare engaging lessons and learning materials.
✓Provide one-on-one and small group support to students, reinforcing concepts and facilitating learning.
✓Assist in the implementation of individualised education plans [IEPs] for students with special educational needs.
✓Support students with personal care and behaviour management, ensuring a safe and inclusive environment.
✓Foster a positive and nurturing atmosphere in the classroom, promoting student well-being and positive behaviour.
✓Assist in the assessment and tracking of student progress, providing feedback to the class teacher.
✓Collaborate with other teaching assistants and school staff to support school-wide initiatives and events.Qualifications and Skills:
✓Minimum of a high school diploma; relevant college degree or teaching assistant qualification is desirable.
✓Experience working with primary-aged children in an educational setting.
✓Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with students, parents, and colleagues.
✓Knowledge of primary school curriculum and teaching methodologies.
✓Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting children's learning and development.
✓Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
