We are currently seeking a highly motivated and passionate Primary Teaching Assistant to join our team.
As a Primary Teaching Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting our experienced teaching staff in delivering high-quality education to our students
You will work closely with the class teacher to create a positive and engaging learning environment
Your responsibilities will include assisting with lesson preparation, providing one-on-one support to students, and helping to maintain a safe and orderly classroom setting
Additionally, you will contribute to the overall pastoral care and well-being of our students.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with the class teacher to plan and prepare engaging lessons and learning materials.
Provide one-on-one and small group support to students, reinforcing concepts and facilitating learning.
Assist in the implementation of individualised education plans [IEPs] for students with special educational needs.
Support students with personal care and behaviour management, ensuring a safe and inclusive environment.
Foster a positive and nurturing atmosphere in the classroom, promoting student well-being and positive behaviour.
Assist in the assessment and tracking of student progress, providing feedback to the class teacher.
Collaborate with other teaching assistants and school staff to support school-wide initiatives and events.Qualifications and Skills:
Minimum of a high school diploma; relevant college degree or teaching assistant qualification is desirable.
Experience working with primary-aged children in an educational setting.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with students, parents, and colleagues.
Knowledge of primary school curriculum and teaching methodologies.
Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting children's learning and development.
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Excellent organisational skills and the ability to multitask and prioritise responsibilities.Benefits:
