Teaching - Cover Supervisor
Description✓Teacheractive has been working alongside SEND & mainstream school’s in the West Midlands area[Redditch,Birmingham,Solihull,Dudley,Tipton,Wolverhampton,Coventry,Telford] that work with vulnerable children who have Special needs varying from complex learning difficulties to Disruptive behaviour, Delayed development, autism, and dissocial disorders.
✓The school’s we work with pride themselves in offering a range of support to their students by providing tailor made plans that are specifically designed to help focus on encouraging desirable behaviours and skills for each student
✓As well as allowing the pupils to develop healthy relationships and qualities that would be considered valuable in society.
✓The school we are working with are looking to take on more than 1 Cover Supervisor, on a temporary basis.
✓As a Cover Supervisor you will be working across key stage 1-5 including outdoor activities, technology, and require you to find other non-conventional ways of teaching children.
✓The successful Cover Supervisor will have:
✓- Outstanding people skills
✓- Experience in dealing with challenging behaviours/SEMH with ASD/MLD
✓- Excellent communication skills
✓- Classroom Management
✓- Capable of building rapport with pupils on a 1:1 basis.
✓- Resilient and compassionate
✓- Caring and empathetic nature
✓- Good knowledge of the curriculum
✓- Capable of planning and deliverying lessons
