Tutor in Telecommunication Engineering
Description✓We have an exciting new opportunity for experienced and qualified Telecommunication Engineering Tutors.
✓This will be a full time, permanent, classroom based role in Sheffield
✓Our client are looking for a qualified tutor with occupational competence working in telecommunications engineering to support adult learners gained Level 2 and 3 qualifications in this field
✓They are an award winning organisation and have supporting hundreds of learners gain knowledge, skills and behavior's to enable them to start a career in telecommunications.
✓Roles and Responsibilities:
✓Develop and deliver lessons and course materials
✓Manage a cohort of 16 to 20 learners on programme for a duration of 6-8 weeks
✓Complete admin tasks such as registers, marking of paperwork, introduction and exit paperwork etc
✓Advise students on academic progress by marking and assessing work and examinations
✓Maintain a positive and professional relationship with students
✓Experience, Skills and Qualifications:
✓Hold a teaching qualification such as PTLLS, DTLLS, CTLLS, AET or equivalent
✓Occupational experience in telecommunications engineering working on copper networking, fibre splicing
✓Strong understanding of telecommunications engineering principles and concepts
✓Experience working in adult education or further education
✓Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
✓Ability to work independently and as part of a team
