✓We are seeking a motivated, skilled and resilient Unqualified Teacher of Science who displays a strong interest in supporting young people with social, emotional and mental health difficulties along with autism
✓The chosen candidate will demonstrate energy, enthusiasm and the ability to build rapport quickly.
✓The successful candidate will be teaching and supporting young people who may have autism, emotional behavioural difficulties, ADHD and associated complex needs.
✓This role would suit someone who has a passion for working with young people
✓It's also a perfect way to see if teaching could be a career for you!
✓Ideally, you'll have a degree in Science but this is not essential
✓Some experience of working with young people is preferred
✓If you don't have any experience then training can be provided
✓What is essential though, is a positive attitude and a willingness to learn.

✓Communication - Communicating with young people is vital to understand their needs
✓Good teamwork and communication plays a key part in ensuring important information is relayed to other staff.
✓Organisation - Ideally, you will have experience of organising and planning well-structured activities for young people or adults
✓You will also be able to demonstrate how you tailor these activities to the needs of the pupils; adapting to respond to the strengths and needs of each learner.
✓Caring - The young people you will work with require the best care you can offer
✓If you are a naturally caring and compassionate person, this is the role for you.
