✓Responsibilities:
✓Provide one-on-one and group support to Key Stage 2 students with special educational needs, ensuring their individual learning needs are met.
✓Assist the class teacher in planning and delivering tailored lessons to promote students' academic progress and personal development.
✓Foster a nurturing and inclusive learning environment, promoting social interaction and emotional well-being.
✓Collaborate with the teaching staff and other support professionals to implement individualized education plans [IEPs] for students with SEN.
✓Help students develop essential skills, such as literacy, numeracy, communication, and social skills.
✓Monitor and track students' progress, maintaining accurate records and reporting to the SEN Coordinator and class teacher.
✓Support students during outings, extracurricular activities, and school events, ensuring their safety and engagement.
✓Collaborate with parents/guardians, providing regular feedback on students' progress and addressing any concerns or queries.Requirements:
✓Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant or in a similar role, preferably within Key Stage 2 and with students with SEN.
✓A genuine passion for supporting children with special educational needs and a commitment to their holistic development.
✓Good knowledge of various special educational needs and the ability to adapt teaching strategies to meet individual requirements.
✓Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with students, parents/guardians, and the wider school community.
✓Patience, empathy, and resilience to effectively manage challenging situations and behaviors.
✓Relevant qualifications or training in special education or related fields will be highly advantageous.SEN School:
