✓Assembly Operative required for a leading manufacturing business based in Reading
✓We are looking for candidates with experience of hands-on production/Manufacturing environments
✓The company manufactures a wide range of instruments and activities will therefore be varied
✓Teamwork skills and the ability to work unattended will be a key attribute of the successful candidate.
✓Main Accountabilities and Responsibilities
✓Assembly/manufacture of electro-mechanical components and instruments.
✓Our customers are in the middle of a large growth period and have various projects in which they require a wide range of skill sets of assembler- Mechanical, electronic, PCB, electrical, Wireman background is a plus.
✓Fit and assembly of mechanical components making use of appropriate machinery and hand tools is a plus but not mandatory
✓Wiring/Soldering experience is a plus but not mandatory.
✓Conduct quality testing and fault finding on instruments.Experience Required:
✓Ability to read and interpret engineering instructions, drawings and BOM's.
✓Take pride in producing high quality work
✓Good attention to detail.
✓Organised and able to prioritise.
✓Team player with excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
