Electrical Design Engineer
Description✓Interaction Recruitment are currently representing a Market Leading business based in the Gateshead area who are currently looking to add an experienced Electrical Design Engineer on a Permanent basis.
✓Working hours are:
✓Monday- Thursday: 08:00- 16:45
✓Friday: 08:00-12:00
✓Salary for this position is up to £45,000 per year, Depending on Experience.

✓The Role:
✓Reporting Directly to the Head of the Electrical Engineering Technical Department, you will have the following duties:
✓Producing of Electrical drawings/diagrams
✓Producing Billing of Materials [BOM’s]
✓Engineering design for both current & new product developments [hardware & software]
✓Implementation & Identification of Design Improvements
✓Machinery Commissioning to support the Manufacturing department to achieve successful production of bespoke products
✓Oversea travel to offer service support- Costs covered by business
✓Candidate Requirements:
✓Hold an HNC/HND degree or equivalent in Electrical/Electronic engineering incorporating elements of Control System Theory
✓Experience of PLC’s, Safety PLC’s HMI’s, AC Drives & Servo drives
✓Experience of Industrial Networks, current EMC safety legislations regarding Electrical Control Systems
✓Experience of CODESYS software programming
✓Experience in of Control Systems design [hardware & software]
✓Machinery Commissioning experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment
✓Familiar with CE requirements and standards of Machinery safety
✓CAD packages experience to produce schematic diagrams, control panel layouts, assembly diagrams and terminal layouts
✓Project Management experience within an Electrical Engineering environment would be highly desirable
✓Additional Requirements:
✓Can contribute to effective Continuous Improvement ideas to improve efficiency
✓Have good attention to detail
✓Be an effective Decision maker
✓Be able to work well as an individual and as part of a team
✓Hold an in-date passport and be willing to commit to International Travel when required by the company
