Electrical Manager
Description✓Our client are looking for a tempoary, possibly could turn permanent, Electrical Manager to be based at their site in Dartford, close to the town centre
✓This role starts immediately and may turn in to something more permanent for the right candidate
✓Hours of work are normally 7.30am to 3.30pm Monday to Friday, parking is available on site
✓Pay rate between £19 to £20 per hour.
✓JOB DESCRIPTION
✓Job Purpose
✓The key requirements of the role are, a drive and passion to promote electrical safety
✓Continue training of engineers and auditing work to ensure the highest standards.
✓You will be responsible for compliance of our installations and to ensure they are all compliant and meet the company policy standards
✓You will support engineers to manage the carrying out their duties, provide guidance, problem solve their issues, action requests to achieve complete installs.
✓Key responsibilities
✓Day to day responsibility for a team of field operatives ensuring compliance to safe working practice.
✓Undertake technical Audits, and Quality assurance procedures.
✓Using coaching techniques to support operatives in their ongoing development and skill set so they can deliver the best service for our customers while ensuring they meet the requirements of the roles safely aspect.
✓Understand the scope of activity and the objectives of the business
✓Engage with a positive Health and Safety culture
✓Dealing with engineers on the phone, including conducting team meetings and 1-2-1 meetings including performance monitoring and review.
✓Person Specification
✓Knowledge/ skills/experience
✓Qualified /time served electrician technician [minimum 5 years]
✓Solar experience or Bpec
✓Test and inspection level 3
✓Previous QS experience profered
✓Ability to work well under pressure
✓Ability to work under your own initiative, as well as part of a team
✓Be a well organised individual with excellent time management
✓Smart and tidy appearance
✓Other relevant information
✓Use of Microsoft office, outlook, Whatsapp.
✓Role would suite a site manager that no longer wants the stresses of a building site.
