✓A fantastic opportunity has become available for an Electrical Project Engineer to join a leading UK Engineering contractor.
✓Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Electrical Project Engineer will:
✓Monitor and plan projects, updating project commercial files and monthly progress reports
✓Complete the production/technical reviews of electrical design drawings and calculations from clients
✓Provide technical guidance to teams within Technology on ‘best technical solutions’ both pre and post sales.
✓Work as part of a collaborative team inclusive of the LV Engineering team
✓As the Electrical Project Engineer you will maintain compliance with the Technology QA system technical requirements within the team by review and audit.
✓Carry out site surveys involving intrusive investigation of in-service LV Assemblies and provide report of findings and requirements.
✓Assist in the generation/technical reviews of estimates, proposals and tenders as necessary.
✓Actively participate in regular LV Engineering meetings.
✓Prepare for and attend weekly meetings for project planning and progress review.
✓Role Requirements
✓As an Electrical Project Engineer you’ll have:
✓An excellent understanding of Control Systems with high levels of technical ability proven through hands on experience.
✓HNC/HND Electrical and Electronic Engineering [Or equivalent through experience].
✓>5 years as an LV Design Engineer [Or equivalent through experience].
✓A strong understanding of Wiring Regulations, LV Switchgear, Earthing Systems and Controlgear assemblies, Distribution theory and protection.
✓Proficient in current release of Autodesk [AutoCAD] or Bentley [Microstation / Promis.e]
