Description✓Our client based in Aldermaston is looking to recruit Production Operatives – with Electro-Mechanical qualities to join their team
✓Our client is looking for someone to join the Repairs team with the responsibility of fault finding and repair to component level – involving both precision analogue and digital instrumentation.
✓It is important to note that this job involves manual handling., As part of this team you should have the ability to engage and work cross-functionally, and with all levels of the business to achieve our goals.
✓Responsibilities
✓* Working through a list of prioritised repairs
✓* Taking on ad hoc specialist repairs
✓* Interacting with the Support team
✓* Maintaining a work log on their MRP system
✓* There will be some requirements to assist with day-to-day activities, commensurate with your capabilities, within the company, particularly the Support and Test departments.
✓Essential Experience
✓* Excellent soldering skills, mechanical assembly, and practical skills
✓* High level of dexterity
✓* Technical background, working as a repair specialist.
✓* Excellent soldering skills, mechanical assembly, and practical skills
✓* Ability to identify or infer faults from test behaviour i.e., fault finding and take corrective action and verify, not merely repair work.
✓* Familiarity with the fundamentals of electronics including reading and understanding circuit diagrams and a basic understanding of component types.
✓* Computer literacy
✓* UK Right to work
✓Desirable Experience
✓* Academic electronics background-HNC/HND/degree
✓* Experience working with small mechanical assemblies.
✓* Dextrous
✓* Demonstrable Character Traits
✓* A logical thinker and problem solver
✓* Willingness to learn and develop.
✓* Time management and organisational skills
✓* Self-Motivated
