Electronic Test Engineer

Neots is currently searching for an Electronic Test Engineer to carry out product testing, fault diagnostics, design, development and implementation of both manual and automated sets/systems, obsolescence replacement verification and documentation generation
Recent graduates who can demonstrate a high level of electronics knowledge and experienced Electronics Engineers with design experience will be considered for this position
What's on offer:
Hours 8.30 to 5.30 Monday to Thursday, finishing at 1.30 on Friday

Working closely with other Engineers to ensure product meets requirements
Develop and implement automated scripts to efficiently analyse results
Diagnose faults down to component level
Generate root cause analysis and correction action failure reports
Perform soldering to IPC standard
Identify trends from test data highlighting any discrepancies
Ensure maintenance and calibration of equipment is carried out
Support activities of maturing products from engineering into production testing
Design, build and commission production manual and automated test sets/rigs
Perform verification testing Experience Required:
HND/BTEC or higher equivalent in Electronics/Electrical Engineering
Must have extensive relevant electronics product test experience and be competent in fault finding to component level
Experience of power electronics and/or analogue electronics-based circuits ideally within SMSP
Able to read and interpret electronic circuit schematics
Must have a good understanding of test methodologies
Fluent in operating basic and advanced electronic test equipment [DVM, Bench Power supplies, functional generators, spectrum analyser, power analyser, oscilloscopes, isolation testers, etc]
Good understanding of basic and advanced electronic components and analytical ability of electronic circuity
The ability to program and code microcontrollers in C would be beneficial
Must be able to perform soldering to IPC standards
