Electronics and embedded engineer
Description✓Role: Electronics and Embedded development Engineer
✓Location: Halifax - onsite role
✓Salary: £competitive
✓Key Duties and responsibilities
✓Embedded firmware and hardware design for existing and new products within the R&D department
✓Research into potential new technologies
✓Be a point of knowledge for electronic technical queries within the organisation
✓Follow correct reporting procedures and project management guidelines
✓Resolve technical issues that may occur
✓Mentoring engineers and university graduate[s]
✓Ensure that product meet the relevant standards for use within the leisure industryKnowledge Skills and Abilities
✓HND/Degree in electronics or equivalent
✓Experience in bus systems preferably LIN
✓Schematic and PCB design
✓C programming in embedded systems
✓Experience with PIC and STM32 ecosystems
✓EMC design
✓Full product life cycleAdditional beneficial experience
✓C++
✓Unit testing
✓GUI development on embedded systems
✓HMI development
✓CAN bus
✓3D CAD design
✓Plastic designs for prototypes using the 3D printer
