Electronics Department Supervisor
Description✓Our client is an established manufacturer of materials testing equipment.
✓They design, manufacture and assemble their systems from their premises North of Gatwick and supply internationally.
✓Due to continued growth, they are now looking to take on a department supervisore for their electronics assembly department.
✓Your tasks will be to oversee a team of 5 technicians that are populating circuit boards,soldering and wiring cables, connectors and sub assembly components onto chassis and enclosures before running checks and tests and handing on to the final assembly section.
✓You will be expected to have an electronics qualification [HND/NC minimum] with experience in supervising a team of 5 technicians.
✓Allocating work, liaising with other departments, using MRP systems and ensuring the department operates smoothly, safely, efficiently and to high standards in both work output and quality/reliability.
✓39 hour weeks, Mon - Thur 08:00 - 16:30 and 08:00 - 16:00 Friday
