Electronics Engineer
Description✓A well-established market leader in aerospace products are seeking an Electronics Engineer to join their team based in St Neots to carry out electronic development activities supporting hardware development
✓You would need to be HNC/HND level or above in Electronic Engineering and have good practical skills with a hands on approach in a lab environment to qualify for this role

✓Duties:
✓Perform Analogue and/or Digital circuit design, Power Supply and mixed signal module design
✓Perform Schematic Capture using ECAD software and have appreciation of PCB layouts
✓Work with PCB Draughtsman to create PCB parts and assemblies
✓Perform Embedded software development using C/C++ or FPGA development
✓Support Verification & Validation testing by creating test plans, test reports, setting up and performing tests
✓Circuit Analysis and Simulation
✓Design for Manufacture/EMC/Environmental/Reliability
✓Provide electrical/electronic support to design staff during development and testing
✓Investigate and provide reports on V&V and Qualification test failures and customer returns and queries
✓Perform Component level testing on software, populated PCBs, and electrical assemblies
✓Fault finding to component level
✓Support production improvements, resolving issues and assisting in creation of Acceptance Test Plans.
✓Experience:
✓HNC/HND or above in Electronics/Electrical Engineering or similar
✓Experience in Design or Test essential
✓Experience in designing electronic hardware working to DO-160, MIL-SRD's or BS EN Standards
✓Practical skills gained working in a lab environment is essential
✓Knowledge of the aerospace, defence or automotive industries would be ideal
✓Good MS office suite skills are needed
✓Experience using LabView or Matlab preferable
✓Knowledge of C or C++ programming would be idea
✓An understanding of electrical safety is needed

✓Hours 8.30am to 5.30pm Monday to Thursday, Finish at 1.30pm on Friday
