✓We are currently partnering with a leading electronics business who enjoy continued growth and development within the company and part of that is the requirement for more skilled individuals-including this vacancy for a Electronics Firmware Engineer.
✓This reputable and British premium brand manufacturer are part of a larger group, based in Wiltshire
✓The Electronics Firmware Engineer will be expected to have a strong electronics background, preferably with experience of working with digital technologies
✓As Electronics Firmware Engineer you will be a well-rounded engineer, having an understanding of process from cradle to grave.
✓Key responsibilities as Electronics Firmware Engineer:
✓You will work in a multi-disciplinary team, from the concept through to manufacture stages of the design process.
✓Digital circuit design, including components such as Microprocessors, DSP, FPGA, DAC/ADC
✓High speed digital design
✓FPGA design implementation and simulation
✓Using best practice for source code control, build, test, and distribution
✓E-CAD Design, Schematic Design and PCB layout
✓Electronics design peer revies, and architecture reviewsExperience as Electronics Firmware Engineer:
✓You will bring experience from multiple domains to the design team, using your electronics background and proven FPGA design experience
✓Working in a multi-disciplinary team you will have an understanding from concept through to manufacture stages of the design process
✓You will have a degree or equivalent qualification in Electronics Engineering or a similar discipline
✓Lab skills, such as debugging prototypes in collaboration with firmware engineers and using test equipment
✓Experienced ECAD user, preferably Pads Pro
✓Able to demonstrate an in-depth knowledge in multiple technical areas related to digital systems design such as high-speed circuit design, FPGA or RF design
