The role
As an Engineering Analyst you'll have a role that's out of the ordinary
In this role you will be working within the Babcock Corporate Services [BCS] business unit
BCS is a global function, with our largest site being Lakeside in Portsmouth, but we operate from multiple sites around the world
BCS supplies and operates all IT, security, procurement, and finance Shared Services.
Day to day, you'll deliver key conclusions & insight from engineering data analysis to improve equipment availability, carry out analysis tasks to support strategic aims and carry out analysis in support of other Insight Team tasks.

* Carry out analysis tasks to support strategic aims
* Manipulate, analyse, and interpret complex data sets
* Analysis of produced data to provide actionable insights.
Essential experience of the Engineering Analyst
* Proficient experience in either the Mechanical or Automotive Engineering field.
* Proficient with MS Office products, advanced MS Excel, experience with BI Tools e.g., QlikView , Power BI
* Broad understanding/experience of statistical analysis
* Experience of problem solver using recognised tools and techniques e.g., FMEA, Cause & * Proficient experience in either the Mechanical or Automotive Engineering field.

* Broad understanding/experience of statistical analysis

The successful candidate must be able to achieve SC security clearance level for this role.
