FGPA Design Engineer
Description✓A leading research & development organisation are seeking an FPGA Design Engineer to join their growing engineering team on their site in Livingston, West Lothian.
✓In this FPGA Design Engineer job you will be working closely with a multi-disciplined R&D team on the development of complex scientific electronic products and systems.
✓Key responsibilities of the FPGA Design Engineer job:
✓The design and development of specified projects / products or sub-systems
✓Produce, maintain and record design documentation
✓Advise in the specification of electronic aspects of custom designed systems
✓Ensure that projects undertaken comply with international standards and complete the necessary records to meet European requirements for self-certification of Company products [CE mark]
✓Remain knowledgeable about state-of-the-art electronics technology and products
✓Key skills / experience required for the FPGA Design Engineer job:
✓RTL and VHDL or Verilog experience
✓Experience in a design and manufacturing environment
✓Knowledge of manufacturing techniques with design for manufacture and assembly skills
✓Experience of designing component parts and assemblies
