Description✓Fire / Security Engineer
✓£35k - £40k dependent on experience
✓Monday to Friday 8am – 4.30pm
✓A fantastic opportunity for a Fire and Security Engineer to join an established firm based locally in Staffordshire, offering a range of comprehensive services within the electrical industry across industrial and commercial sectors
✓Delivering high-quality services to all their customers, you will be pivotal in the completion of small and largescale projects whilst supporting both junior team members and electricians.
✓As part of the role of Fire and Security Engineer, you will be completing both PPM and reactive work, ensuring it complies with British Standards
✓
✓Troubleshoot system issues and provide timely resolutions to minimize downtime
✓Identify and rectify faults in fire alarm systems, access control systems, CCTV systems, and intruder alarm systems
✓Complete routine inspections and tests of fire and security systems to ensure their proper functioning
✓Complete all paperwork after job has been carried out
✓Work alongside electricians to support on electrical installations when required
✓
✓To be successful in this role you must have experience in fire alarms and security systems including:
✓
✓In-depth knowledge of fire detection and security systems, both conventional and analogue systems
✓Relevant FIA training or equivalent and knowledge of British Standards [BS5839-1]
✓Full UK driving licence
✓Exceptional IT skills to complete certification and jobs via an iPad
✓
