Hardware Verification Engineer

✓We are actively looking for an exceptional Hardware Verification Engineer to join our Engineering team, based in Cambridge.
✓The Hardware Verification Engineer will develop constructive test plans and perform testing to ensure our products meet with the agreed requirements
✓The role includes close liaison with electronic design, component engineering and design validation teams across both Automotive and Motorsport products.
✓The Role:
✓Assist the Lead engineer to develop constructive test plans and perform testing to ensure products meet with requirements and specifications.
✓ Fault finding and technical support.
✓Support for obsolete component replacement testing.
✓ Create and maintain regular Design Verification Reports and glide paths to report out project status.
✓Perform verification tests and conduct analysis of the test results to ensure complete verification of the requirements.
✓Create test plans, test cases and test reports independently with very little supervision.
✓Consider the health and safety, environmental and energy impact of all activities.
✓ Support the Company’s compliance with the Data Protection Act 2018, following policy and best practice.
✓Undertake any other duties or activities reasonably requested in order to meet departmental or company goals.

✓Candidate Profile:
✓Required:
✓A qualification in Electronic Engineer or to be equally qualified through relevant work experience in an Electronic Engineering domain.
✓Experience with schematic capture and basic understanding of PCB design techniques.
✓Experience of using bench power supplies, oscilloscopes, spectrum analysers.
✓A thorough understanding of component parameters and the ideal and non-ideal properties of components.
✓An understanding of Electronic product design processes.
✓Experience of component specification for reliable mass manufacture.
✓Practical experience of creating and executing tests for new parts.
✓Desirable:
✓Previous automotive experience.
✓Altium experience.
