✓Due to their on-going success and expansion plans, our leading solutions providing engineering client in Southampton are looking for a Junior Electrical Engineer / Electronics Engineer.
✓The successful Junior Electrical Engineer will undertake a progressive training plan which will cover all operational aspects of the company, from production through to design
✓Based on performance and successful completion of the training there will be career progression opportunities to become a Design Engineer within a 1–2-year period.
✓The ideal Junior Electrical Engineer will have:
✓* Degree, HNC, HND, BTEC or similar in Electrical / Electronic engineering.
✓* Good and demonstrable knowledge of this field and the ability to demonstrate a hands-on approach.
✓* A keen desire to learn, succeed and add value to the business.
✓* Strong communication skills.
✓Advantageous skills:
✓* AutoCAD or similar 2D-CAD package.
✓* SolidEdge or similar experience, 3D modelling software.
✓* Knowledge of PLC or micro-programming, or, embedded system design, would be a major advantage.
✓Other Details
✓* Starting Salary £22,000 - £28,000 – With performance and salary reviews every 6 months during the training period.
