Maintenance Engineer
Description✓Position: Multi-Skilled Engineer
✓Salary: £38,000 – £40,000
✓Location:, Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire
✓Shift Pattern: Monday - Friday
✓Interaction Recruitment has teamed up with a well-recognised recycling company looking to take on a Multi-Skilled Engineer to join team on immediately
✓This is a great opportunity for a skilled engineer to join a well-established and secure company looking to progress their skills and further their career!
✓The Role:
✓Responsible for the diagnostics, repair and maintenance of machinery.
✓Respond to breakdowns as required and assure company quality standards are maintained
✓Carry out all work to current legislation and regulations.
✓Carry out modifications and installation as necessary.
✓Provide feedback to Head of Engineering, including any outstanding work, unavailable machinery.
✓Assist in maintaining machinery spares to prevent excessive downtime.
✓Contribute to continuous improvement.
✓Liaise with contractors when required on site.
✓Carry out project work as required.
✓Assist in Health and Safety procedures
✓The Candidate:
✓Electrical & Mechanical experience [must have electrical knowledge]
✓Experience manufacturing experience is compulsory.
✓Good knowledge of pneumatics.
✓Knowledge of PLC programming/fault finding
✓Must be able to work in a team and autonomously.
✓Must have the ability to prioritise jobs.
✓Must have the ability to communicate at all levels.
✓A willingness to learn.
✓Ability to work to deadlines and minimise downtime.
✓C&G 17th / 18th edition qualified.
✓Full UK Driving License
