The Role: We are seeking a talented and inspiring Teacher of Maths to join a renowned secondary school in Wakefield
As a dedicated professional, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and dynamic Maths lessons to students aged 11-16
Your passion for the subject and innovative teaching strategies will empower students to develop their mathematical skills, critical thinking abilities, and problem-solving techniques.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver well-structured lessons that cater to diverse learning needs and abilities.
Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and academic growth.
Utilise a variety of teaching methodologies, resources, and technology to enhance student learning.
Assess and provide constructive feedback to students to support their progress and attainment.
Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement schemes of work and contribute to the ongoing improvement of the department.Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status [QTS] or equivalent, with a degree in Mathematics or a related field.
Proven experience teaching Maths to secondary school students, with a track record of achieving excellent results.
Strong subject knowledge and a deep understanding of the UK national curriculum.
Excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills.
