A brilliant opportunity for an experienced Building Physics Engineer to join a multi-disciplinary consultancy and testing firm
The firm have been established for 20 years and work with architects, contractors, consultants and directly with clients.
To be considered for this Building Physics Engineer role you will have:
Degree or Master's in building physics or similar
Relevant experience in a similar role
Experience in IES VE building simulation software
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
Experience in building physics specifically energy modelling and building simulation
Brilliant time management and organisational skills
Experience completing projects for Part L compliance, EPCs, CIBSE TM59/52 Overheating Analysis
Knowledge of Building Regulations, energy codes and planning requirements throughout the UK
Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
OCDEA, LCC or LCEA qualifications [Desirable]Working as a Building Physics Engineer you will:
Liaise with design team, statutory authorities, and contractors
Support with energy modelling and building simulation
Complete projects for Part L compliance, CIBSE TM59/52, EPCs, CIBSE TM54 Operational Energy
Assist with early design modelling looking at passive design measures
