Description✓Role: Bus and Coach Technician
✓Salary: £38,000-£47,000 + Overtime available
✓Location: Luton, Bedfordshire
✓Hours: Monday-Friday [Flexible Days or Nights] - 06.00-16.00 / 19.00-17.00 [10 hour shifts]
✓Job Type: Full time, Permanent
✓Interaction Technical have partnered with an established family run Public Service Vehicle repair & diagnostic workshop based in the Luton area
✓Due to expansion, we are not looking to welcome a full time, permanent Bus & Coach Technician to the expanding workforce
✓Package:
✓28 days inclusive of public holidays
✓Company Pension, Perk Scheme & Health Assurance
✓Readily available overtime paid at enhanced rates
✓Training & Development Opportunities with a scope to progress to a lead technician/management within the business
✓Weekend Work available but optional
✓The Role:
✓- Carry out repairs and fittings on an array of Public Service Vehicles [Bus & Coaches]
✓- The use of on site tools and workshop facilities, working alone and in a team to ensure that a clean and tidy environment is upheld
✓- MOT Preparations & inspection of fleet vehicles
✓- Engines, Gearbox and minor repairs/replacements
✓The Candidate:
✓- Previous experience working on PSV, Buses, Coaches or HGVS
✓- Relevant qualifications [HGV, PSV Mechanics - City & Guilds/NVQs] - Advantageous but not essential
✓- A good knowledge of mechanical fittings, repairs and maintenance of Class 4, 7, LGV, HGV or PSVs
