Business Development Executive
Description✓Manpower are currently recruiting for 2 Business Development Executives for our client based in Nottingham our client has 2 positions they are looking for 1 of the 2 positions to be filled with someone who has engineering knowledge but the other position they are happy to accept candidates with just sales experience.

✓Job Purpose
✓To identify and generate new business, manage sales activities and act as the liaison between the Marketing and Sales teams.
✓Your role will be to seek new business opportunities by contacting and developing relationships with potential customers [outbound] as well as pro-actively responding to sales enquiries [inbound].
✓Specific Duties:
✓* Generate new leads that match our ideal buyer profiles to build credibility, gather business information and identify opportunities
✓* Manage sales opportunities and individual pipeline from initial qualification through to close
✓* Monitor website visitors, identify potential prospects within the business and connect to generate opportunities
✓* Arrange and conduct qualification calls with sales enquiries to qualify opportunities, excite them about the company and convert them to the next step
✓* Meet with clients face to face or online
✓* Attend relevant conferences and events to increase network of contacts and market awareness of the company
✓* Work with marketing to nurture existing ideal leads, ensure of staying top-of-mind, excite, and encourage them to purchase from the company
✓* Ensure all contact and deal information, communications, actions and forecasts are recorded and kept up to date in the CRM system
✓* Report lead quality, drop out and customer feedback to help planning changes to maximise results and achieve the best return on investment
✓* Conduct market research and gather customer insights to help shape the companies market-led approach
✓* Support the team with administration and co-ordination as needed
✓* Build long-term trusting relationships with clients
✓* Stay up-to-date with new products/services and new pricing/payment plans
✓* Feed back to business options for improvement in product/ delivery
✓Qualifications and Knowledge
✓* Experience in a high-value B2B sales role
✓* Experience of consultative selling
✓* Understanding of the Smart Building environment
✓* Experience of IoT selling [ not essential for the role that doesnt need experience]
✓* Good standard of general education
✓* Industry regulation and compliance standards
✓* Health & safety awareness
✓Skills and Experience
✓* Enthusiasm and a desire to develop own skills and capabilities
✓* Excellent telephone manner and attitude to customer service
✓* Good written and verbal communication skills with excellent attention to detail
✓* Excellent interpersonal skills with ability to build trusted relationships with external and internal customers at all levels
✓* Highly organised and proficient in using a CRM and ERP system
✓* Reliable, flexible and willing to work smart and learn new skills
✓* Effective negotiation skills and persuasion
✓* Strong commercial awareness and aptitude with a can-do/ take-charge attitude
