✓ Our client are a multinational company with sites across the globe, due to continued growth they are seeking a BDM to cover the UK
✓The successful candidate will be responsible for sourcing and onboarding new clients and a background within engineering or manufacturing will be desirable.
✓Key Responsibilities – Business Development Manager
✓Driving new business opportunities, from lead to sale, to support growth plans
✓Developing and managing a sales pipeline from lead generation, opportunity management,
✓through product solution, negotiations and securing the sale to ensure the sales target is
✓achieved
✓Working with key account managers to maximise sales opportunities within the customer
✓base
✓Developing strategies for expanding into new sectors
✓Working with marketing to support the lead generation activity across sectors and product

✓Qualifications & Experience – Business Development Manager
✓5 years of business development/sales management with a proven sales record
✓Experience of sales or business development in an engineering/manufacturing environment
✓A self-starter, motivated by managing a strong pipeline and hitting target
✓Excellent people skills
✓Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills
✓Excellent organisational and follow-up skills
✓Confident, rounded thinking
✓Ability to seek and develop new relationships to achieve strategic business objectives and hit
