Cnc Operator Setter
Description✓The Recruitment Group is proud to recruit for a client who is a leading special purpose engineering cutting tool manufacturer, specialising in the design and manufacture of quality broach cutting tools for the Aerospace and Automotive sectors.
✓Due to continued success, we have a permanent job vacancy for a CNC setter /Operator on a special purpose tool form Grinding machine.
✓The job role is varied with different sizes and range of tools produced.
✓As a CNC Operator You will be responsible for the following:
✓* Interpreting a precision Engineering drawing
✓* Setting and operating a CNC form grinder producing tolerances down to microns.
✓* Performing in process inspection and confirming the operations have been performed correct to design drawing.
✓* Programming the machine using the conversational program software.
✓* Be prepared to work extra hours to ensure the machine is set correctly and running before the end of the shift where possible.
✓The Ideal Candidate:
✓All necessary training will be provided; however, the successful applicant must have previously worked on a CNC machine in a precision engineering environment, working to tight tolerance and appreciate the importance of the accuracy of the setting required
✓As a CNC Operator:
✓* Must be able to perform basic mathematical arithmetic.
✓* Have a good work ethic– Reliability, time keeping management, flexible, honest and trustworthy.
✓* Acute attention to detail and an appreciation for high quality products.
✓Benefits: 25 days holiday + bank holidays, Flexitime 6:00am-8:00am start time, additional overtime hours available, Pension scheme, relaxed working environment
✓Hours: Full time- 37 hours Flexitime 6:00am-8:00am start time, 8 hours Monday to Thursday and 5 hours on Friday.
