✓Pertemps are proud to be representing a very well-established client of ours who's roots date back over 100 years!
✓They are currently on the look out for a time served CNC setter to join their ranks
✓If you think you have what it takes to be the CNC setter my client is after, please read on.
✓Package on offer,
✓Contract - Full time
✓Pension - 6 % contribution from the business
✓Overtime is paid at 1.3 x and 1.5 x the hourly rate depending on when.
✓Holidays - 30 days including bank holidays.
✓Salary - £15 p/hour - £16.50 p/hour depending on experience.
✓Working hours - 7am - 3:30pm Monday to Thursday, Friday 7 am to 12:45pmRole overview,
✓Perform complex, multi-axis CNC machinery set-up
✓Operate CNC manufacturing equipment
✓Read and interpret technical drawings to determine machine set-up
✓Inspect parts for defects
✓Perform machine adjustments and preventative maintenance
✓Working on bespoke, unique products daily
✓Cylindrical grinding + servicing
✓Using micrometers
✓Milling + turningSkills/ requirements for the right CNC Setter,
✓Must have experience writing basic programs and setting lathes or grinders up on their own.
✓Reading technical drawings is essential.
✓Geometric, dimensional tolerancing to be understood.
✓Must be able to use a DTI
✓Analogue and digital Micrometer use and knowledge is essential
