Design Engineer – Commercial HVAC / Air Conditioning
Description✓Job Title – Design Engineer
✓The Position
✓As a Design Engineer, you will play a vital role in the tendering sales process by collaborating closely with commercial HVAC sales teams and potential clients to design customised air conditioning solutions that meet their specific needs
✓You will utilise your technical expertise, creativity, and problem-solving skills to create comprehensive system designs, generate accurate cost estimates, and present compelling proposals to clients.
✓Initially, the Design Engineer role will be based in a South London office [a beautiful location], providing you with a collaborative and supportive work environment
✓As you become proficient and confident in your role, you will have the option of a hybrid work arrangement
✓This means you will have the flexibility to work remotely for 2-3 days per week.
✓Responsibilities:
✓* Collaborate with the sales team to gain an in-depth understanding of customer requirements and develop tailored air conditioning solutions.
✓* Design and develop detailed HVAC system layouts, including equipment selection, ductwork design, and control strategies.
✓* Perform heat load calculations and energy efficiency analyses to optimise system performance.
✓* Accompanying sales partners on customer visits and calls to enhance work winning capabilities
✓* Stay up-to-date with industry trends, product advancements, codes and regulations related to air conditioning systems
✓* Foster collaborative relationships with internal teams to ensure a seamless transition from presales to project execution.
