✓This an exciting opportunity for an Electrical Design Engineer to work for a national company that has been trading for over 60 years
✓As a business, they aim to bring sustainability through their work
✓For this role, you will be based in the Birmingham office, and have the option for hybrid working
✓Design electrical engineering scope in compliance with standards and company procedures.
✓Document all variations and deviations from the Handover Documentation/Specification.
✓Prepare detailed drawings and check CAD Operators' work.
✓Manage requisitions, the assess technical content of returned quotations and respond to vendor queries.
✓Monitor sub-contractors and conduct inspections and ex-works tests of equipment.
✓Ensure site works comply with specifications, programme, and budget.
✓Assist with site testing and commissioning if required.
✓Efficiently manage manpower resources, communicate with project stakeholders, and contribute to project tracking and reporting.
✓Contribute to Operation and Maintenance Manuals and departmental procedure development.
✓Comply with Health and Safety policies and procedures
✓Qualifications:
✓HNC/D qualification [or equivalent] in Electrical Engineering or an equivalent mix of formal education and practical experience
✓BSc or equivalent in an electrical biased discipline
✓C&G 18th Edition Level 3 Award
✓Membership the IET, IEEE, CIWEM or similar professional institution
