Field Service Engineer - Switchgear
Description✓We are looking for a Field Service Engineer to join a family run business who are big open empowering their staff
✓Working with Switchgear products, the company has the facilities to offer bespoke training plans and mapped out progression
✓With an emphasis on a collaborative teamwork culture, with opportunities to work around the world this is a very exciting prospect for the right candidate
✓This role with have a 50:50 split between Site based and workshop-based work.
✓The company is big on organic growth, this role has come about due to recent growth which they are unable to support organically
✓The role and responsibilities of the position include.
✓Providing site-based support on behalf of the company, assisting with maintenance, repair, and servicing of LV/MV/HV switchgear, circuit breakers and SF6 gas.
✓Ensuring that top level customer service and technical support is provided all times, demonstrating excellent fault finding and rectification skills, to ensure customer requirements are met.
✓Ensure correct and accurate documentation is kept at all times
✓Completing reports, timesheets and expenses, to ensure invoicing is all processed correctly.
✓Having an eye on Continuous improvement, identifying any areas of additional repair which may be required when working on-site
✓To be considered you must meet the following.
✓Previous experience working with switchgear experience is
✓Be qualified to a minimum of NVQ level 3 in an engineering discipline.
✓Have a full UK driving licence.
✓Be a collaborative team member
