✓Overview Due to the number of enquires coming into the business we are now looking to take on a Surveyor, Designer and Estimator who will be responsible for dealing with these enquires end to end
✓From initial contact from a client through to a quote being prepared and sent
✓Additionally, you will be responsible for following up with clients regularly
✓We encourage the building of relationships with new and existing clients to further facilitate new enquires and cross selling opportunities.
✓
✓This is not a targeted sales role however we have an expectation that this role by nature of your continued contact with clients will generate new opportunities
✓For example you are dealing with an enquiry for a Fire Alarm and through conversation you learn the client could benefit from our other services we would expect that you would look to progress this and try to turn this into a new enquiry
✓These are the sort of opportunities we ask everyone who is client facing to look out for.
✓
✓We are looking for someone who is commercially astute, a good communicator and team player that will work closely with the directors, managers and engineers to help deliver successful projects as ‘one team’ while representing ***** Fire & Security Ltd professionally at all times.

✓Our ambition is to develop a Design team to support the entire business
✓The design team will be responsible for pulling together quotations from all areas of the business
✓This includes Fire and Security projects and small works as well as assisting the service team with reactive and maintenance quotes.
✓
✓When the time is right we will look to expand the Design team and so an opportunity exists for the right person to progress to leading and managing the work stream for this team.

✓Key Responsibilities
✓• Surveying and Designing of Fire and Security systems
✓• Building and submitting quotations for clients
✓• Monitoring your quote bank for follow up [Sales progression]
✓• Building relationships with clients
✓• Developing existing business through cross selling our other services to clients where applicable
✓
✓Deliverables [You will be required to]
✓• Understand all of our offerings
✓• Have an understanding of our Culture for H&S & Quality and core values
✓• Review technical specifications to understand clients requirements
✓• Research suitable systems/components to meet clients requirements
✓• Complete design calculations and present technical information
✓• Liaise with manufacturers and suppliers for technical data and pricing
✓• Survey sites across the south
✓• Produce and submit quotes
✓• Compile full tender packages
✓Design, specs, drawings, technical submissions etc
✓• Sales progression tasks
✓• Monitor the system to chase quotes over 30 days
✓• Design to Operation handover meetings upon being awarded
✓• Be prepared to go the extra mile to keep the client happy
✓
✓Required Qualifications and experience
✓
✓Understanding of both fire and security technical standards and systems Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships with customers and colleagues IT experience, MS Office, Excel and CRM systems Excellent time management
✓Ability to manage own workload, work independently and as part of a team.
✓FIA design or equivalent
✓Location and travel requirements
✓******* Operate throughout the South of England.
✓You may be required to travel throughout this area to carry out your duties.
