Health, Safety and Environmental Manager
Description✓2BM Recruitment Ltd have been engaged by a leader in foundry manufacturing to recruit a Health, Safety and Environmental Lead / Manager for their exceptional team
✓Based at their site easily commutable from Sheffield, Rotherham, Doncaster, Barnsley, Chesterfield, we’re looking for a passionate and skilled HSE individual to uphold company standards.
✓* Salary range £35,000 - £40,000 [DOE]
✓* Working hours Monday – Thursday 8am – 4.30pm and 8am – 3.30pm on Fridays
✓* Permanent opportunity with a highly regarded organisation and employee focussed vision
✓* 30 Days annual leave [inc 8 stats] increasing to 35 with service
✓* Private healthcare, pension, and state of the art working facilities.
✓Based in a state-of-the-art modern manufacturing facility you will report to the QHSE Director, working with the management teams throughout the business to drive conformance and continuous improvement within the HSE remit
✓Although the role centres around health, safety and environmental, it is to be expected to include elements of quality as part of this.
✓Key Responsibilities
✓* Completing risk assessments throughout site
✓* Prepare health and safety strategies and develop internal policies
✓* Deliver all H&S training requirements
✓* Reporting near misses and accidents
✓* PPE control and monitoring, ensuring all staff, visitors and contractors adhere to H&S requirements
✓* Review and update the company Standards register and Waste register
✓* Conducting internal audits
✓* Drive company objectives through implementation and monitoring of KPI’s
✓* Analyse KPI data to determine and implement continuous improvement techniques
✓* Validate suitability of procedures, measures of performance and targets, and change as required.
✓We’re extremely keen to talk to Health, Safety and Environmental professionals that have experience within a similar role within a manufacturing or engineering environment that are:
✓* NEBOSH qualified
✓* Are conversant with ISO 14001 and ISO 18001 quality management systems
✓* Ideally have experience of Non-Conformance and Corrective Action
✓* Are knowledgeable with FMEA [Failure Modes and Effects Analysis]
✓* Are looking for a long-term career with an established and highly reputable company
