Inspector PPR
Description✓Inspector PPR - Full Time - Leeds, United Kingdom
✓Come and join Sulzer Pumps in Leeds as our Inspector in Pump, Parts, and Retrofits
✓You will be joining the aftermarket team to ensure all inspection operations are completed with minimum disruption to the manufacturing process so we can continue to drive the business to the next level.
✓If you are highly motivated and a hands-on engineer with a good eye for detail and a background in pumps and rotating equipment, we would love to hear from you!
✓Your main tasks and responsibilities:
✓Ensuring all inspection operations are completed whilst checking all systems are followed and operated to safe working practices
✓You will possess the ability to work independently to a high degree of accuracy using conventional measuring equipment
✓Accurately read and interpret engineering drawings and component interfaces
✓Liaise regularly with internal departments, sub suppliers and quality teams
✓To succeed in this role, you will need:
✓HNC / equivalent in mechanical engineering and / or
✓Relevant experience within related industry including knowledge of industry practices and standards
✓Good communication skills together with the ability to be flexible, work well in a team and on your own initiative
✓Computer literacy and SAP experience is a key part of this role
✓Excellent attention to detail skills
