A national ingredient & equipment manufacturer with more than a century of knowledge supplying their quality products and technology to the bakery industry
The business is firmly established having opened its doors in the late 1800’s and prides itself on their industry knowledge, ever adapting to the changing market
A fast-expanding business where their attitude to a providing a quality product and service is second-to-none, and is reflected throughout the culture of the business in how they strive to perfect processes and standards across the organisation.
Currently recruiting multiple engineers to accommodate for their growth plan
The engineering team is responsible for supporting CapEx installations projects & regular PPM’s, alongside reactive maintenance work
Their manufacturing site has seen significant upgrades and improvements to machinery & electrical systems over recent years.
The Role:
Responsibilities of a Maintenance Engineer within the organisation include:
General reactive maintenance to process equipment e.g
automation, ovens, fillers, vessels, boilers, pumps, packaging.
Mechanical/Electrical machine interrogation & troubleshooting.
Fault-finding & modifications to PLC’s, Allen Bradley knowledge as a preference.
Planned preventative maintenance conducted to schedule to optimise machinery performance
PPM’s conducted on a regular basis.
Involvement in CapEx installation projects, mechanical/electrical machine installations.
General site organisation – job records, spares usage, improvement planning
C&G level 3, HNC/HND, time-served advanced apprentice, higher education.
