Management Accountant

✓What you'll be doing;
✓Producing accurate monthly management accounts for contracts within the role-holder's remit and reporting results to Contract Managers, the Regional Financial Controller and the Regional Management.
✓To prepare forecasts and budgets in liaison with Contract Managers, supporting and advising as required.
✓Ensuring all contracts within the remit comply with company finance policies and procedures.
✓Completion of balance sheet reconciliations on a monthly basis and ensuring stringent controls are in place
✓Ensuring stocks [fuel, PPE] and assets [fleet, IT equipment] are correctly accounted for.
✓Overseeing and supporting the performance of general finance duties, including but not limited to sales invoicing, purchase order creation and monitoring key accounting systems for accuracy.
✓Developing operational and strategic plans, e.g
✓new services, in tandem with clients and the Contract and Regional Management.
✓Provide support to annual audit processes
✓Liaise with external auditors when any financial information is required for the contract.
✓What we're looking for;
✓A qualified ACCA or CIMA Accountant with experience in management accounting is essential
✓Nearly or part qualified would be considered with relevant experience.
✓Multi-site account management is beneficial but not essential.
✓Experience in industrial/commercial management accounts preparation and reporting would also be advantageous.
✓IT literacy, including at least intermediate skills with Excel and Google Sheets are required, and any exposure to Workday and Adaptive Insights is also highly desirable.
✓Financial problem solving and analysis skills.
✓Organisational skills and the ability to work to strict deadlines.
✓Accuracy and attention to detail.
✓Strong interpersonal skills are required to liaise confidently with other parts of the business and external customers
