Description✓Are you a Mechanical Design Engineer looking for a new job based in Fareham, Hampshire?
✓You will be joining a well-established company, working in a variety of different industries, specialising in designing and manufacturing specialist computing platforms, engineered to meet the client's exact requirements and needs
✓They design many different products such as mobile tablets and boxed computers through to complex racks and innovative IoT platforms
✓They design their products to withstand extreme and harsh environments
✓Our client is looking for a confident experienced Mechanical Design Engineer to join the team to bring strong knowledge and innovative design skills.
✓Mechanical Design Engineer key skills required:
✓- Ideally a Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
✓- Expert in Mechanical design made from predominately sheet metal fabrication within an electrical/ electronic or electro-mechanical environment.
✓- Display the ability to build and manage complex 3D models and 2D manufacturing drawings with 3D CAD - Ideally SolidWorks.
✓- Structural analysis of mechanical components and assemblies using calculations.
✓- Thermal analysis of electro-mechanical systems, to include air and fluid flow to provide cooling of electronics using calculations.
✓- Knowledge or experience with injection moulding designs would be beneficial.
