✓Overview of a Mechanical Design Engineer
✓We are currently recruiting on behalf of a reputable building design consulting firm specialising in building services
✓As they continue to grow, they are seeing a talented and motivated Mechanical Design Engineer to join the team and contribute to the ongoing success
✓You will be responsible for the design and implementation of mechanical systems for building projects
✓Working closely with clients, architects, and other stakeholders, you will provide expertise in mechanical engineering principles and practices to deliver high-quality designs that meet project requirements
✓This is an intermediate-level position that requires a solid foundation in mechanical design, project management and strong communication skills.
✓Key Qualifications/Competencies of a Mechanical Design Engineer
✓• Building Services or equivalent to HND or BSc level.
✓• CIBSE affiliation is preferred.
✓• Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a consulting or design role within the mechanical engineering field.
✓• Proficient in AutoCAD and other relevant software.
✓• Strong computer literacy with the ability to quickly learn new tools and technologies.
✓• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
✓• Demonstrated ability to manage projects independently and deliver high-quality work within deadlines.
✓• Good problem-solving and decision-making skills with attention to detail.
