✓Shifts: Monday - Friday 06:00 - 16:30 [Flexibility to work nights when required with enhancement]
✓Hourly Rate: Days - £16.31 PAYE / £20.63 Umbrella
✓Nights - £21.69 PAYE / £27.64 Umbrella
✓Hours Per Week: 50 hours per week minimum
✓Duration: Ongoing

✓Europe's largest Rolling Stock Producer, maintainer and servicing organisation is looking for Mechanical Experienced Engineers to join a well established team at a busy rail depot in East London
✓Position Summary:
✓The role is carrying out mostly Mechanical & but some Electrical overhaul including stripping and refitting
✓You will be specifically focused on modifications, interior strip and replace on modern Aventra Stock within a mid-sized heavy maintenance depot
✓This position is the key focal point for the safe and reliable running of the fleet and is a key requirement against the Service Agreement [SA]
✓This is a safety Critical position working on a busy live rail maintenance depot and in this role you would be expected to complete the following:
✓* Work from written instruction [VMI]
✓* Work from Engineering drawings, working to specific measurements
✓* Removal of interiors and body sides
✓* Rebuilding on the vehicle sides
✓* Refitting, Seats, Grab Rails, Poles etc
✓* Remove large components such as axle boxes, bogies, valves and couplers
✓* Replacing mechanical components to correspond to engineering drawings
✓Person Profile:
✓You will be a highly self-motivated individual as training to develop will be given to these individuals
✓Attitude and enthusiasm is key for this role you should be able to follow detailed instructions as an eye for details is key to this role
✓Following on the job competency based training you will be able to work under your own initiative

✓* RAF, REME, Army, Navy
✓* Plant Maintenance
✓* Engineering Services Maintenance

✓* Plumbers

✓Ideal applicants would have had some maintenance/fitting experience of a heavy nature
✓Also due to the nature of the programme candidates must be able to work days & nights which will include working at the weekend.
