Mechanical Technician
Description✓We are currently working in partnership with a business based in the Cwmbran area, who are actively recruiting for Mechanical Technician, due to an increase for their services
✓They service a range of business, not only designing and building metal formed products, but also servicing and supplying maintenance solutions
✓They are seeking candidate who has worked within a similar sector and has experience of handling mechanical equipment and reactive maintenance on a wide variety of machinery
✓Ideally the candidate who does apply will have had some exposure to all elements of engineering including fitting, welding, machining, and maintenance.
✓Benefits of the Mechanical Technician:
✓Salary £13.69 p/h - £16.00 p/h experience depending.
✓Working Hours - Monday to Thursday 8.30am - 4.30pm Friday 8.30am - 1.30pm
✓37 hours per week
✓Voluntary Overtime Available [150%]
✓Pension Contribution Scheme
✓Holiday Entitlement
✓Duties and Responsibilities of the Mechanical Technician:
✓CNC Machining of various customs stainless steel components
✓Welding of various metal plate and steel frames
✓Mechanically minded to understanding a variety of equipment to diagnose and repair as required.
✓Responsible for fault finding and repair across a wide range of equipment.
✓Mechanical maintenance on a range of production equipment and machinery.
✓Setting and calibrating machinery and instruments.
✓Implementing the maintenance programme and updating maintenance records.
✓Planned preventative maintenance.
✓Reactive maintenance work
✓To maintain the highest standards of housekeeping.
✓To work with the Operations Manager to monitor and improve productivity and efficiencies.Privacy and General Data Protection Policy
