Oxy Propane Scrap Burner
Description✓Acorn is currently recruiting on behalf of their client for experienced Oxy Propane Burners [Lancing experience is desirable] for exciting new permanent positions based in Scunthorpe
✓This is an opportunity to join a well - established company with nearly 30 years working in Environmental services, Steelworks, Scrap Processing & Road Haulage
✓They are a trusted partner in industry, who are currently experiencing a period of sustained growth
✓Applicants must have previous experience of working in an industrial environment, and some basic mechanical skills.
✓Duties & responsibilities will include cutting scrap metal, rail, coils etc with Oxy-Propane cutting equipment, You will also be trained to use an oxy lance
✓Further training & investment in the successful candidates will include Weldcare Level 1.
✓A good level of personal fitness is required
✓You must have a full UK Driver's Licence
✓You will also be required to undertake a pre-employment medical with a drug and alcohol test.
✓Working hours are Monday - Friday, 50 hours a week
✓Basic rate is £15 per hour with time & a half payable after 8 hours
✓Expected annual earnings are in excess of £42,000.
