Planning Engineer
Description✓A new opportunity has arisen for a Planning Engineer to join our client, a reputable and growing employer within the Engineering industry to manage, plan and maintain their site south of
✓Cambridge

✓As the Planning Engineer you will play a key role in the full management and be responsible for the maintenance calendar
✓ Your role will also involve responding and managing any changes in demand which may affect planned maintenance and having you manage shift cover as required.
✓As the Planning Engineer you will be responsible for:
✓Attending /chairing regular maintenance reviews and track actions.
✓Preparing management reports as necessary
✓Manage the Allianz database and all statutory inspections [PSSR, LEV, LOLER].
✓Logging and closure of CMMS work orders to a high standard.
✓Implement continuous improvement initiatives.
✓Manage requests from other parts of the business to fruition.
✓Review reports and action repairs
✓Organise contract labour for maintenance work
✓Book contractors to site and manage service visits.
✓Liaise with calibration department for access to equipment
✓Ensure statutory visits are communicated.
✓Comply with health and safety legislation and site safety rules
✓Work to a high-quality and customer service standard.
✓Contribute positively to the development of the whole engineering team
✓As the Planning Engineer you will have:
✓IOSH managing safely
✓CMMS experience
✓Maintenance engineering experience in a manufacturing or process environment
✓Experience of setting up and managing engineering planning processes and reports
✓Accurate and attention to detail
✓Ability to manage time effectively and diary management
✓Advanced IT skills including Microsoft Word and Excel
✓Excellent communication skills [written and verbal] and can work well within a team
✓Demonstrable customer service experience with ability to engage positively with key stakeholders
✓Ability to practice and manage safe working and ensuring safe systems of work
