Plant Fitter - Earthmoving Machinery - Perth Australia - Relocation
Description✓Atom Resources are delighted to be partnering with Australian Perth based civil engineering contractor Centrals, to assist in sourcing 4 x Mobile Plant Mechanics, to relocate to Perth, Western Australia [WA].
✓The successful applicants will relocate to Perth, Australia, around September - December 2023 and will form part of the Companies core maintenance team.
✓Centrals will be visiting London, Birmingham, Manchester and Dublin in the coming months to conduct interviews.

✓Established in 1978, in the small town of Morawa, Western Australia, the Patterson family started hiring earthmoving equipment, as a complimentary service to their existing farming business.
✓In 1985, the Patterson’s acquired a Geraldton based earthmoving business, and subsequently renamed the company Central Earthmoving, to better represent the company’s core service offering.
✓What started with eight pieces of equipment and 11 employees, has now grown to a business with an annual turnover in excess of $100 million and employing 180 direct employees.
✓This business is well suited to somebody who is a tenacious self-starter, who readily takes accountability for the successful delivery of company tasks, ensuring a world class experience for the customer.
✓Summary of Contracts and Equipment
✓Projects are typically in regional areas of Western Australia, and employees work on a 2 week on, 1 week off basis.

✓Civil construction for Main Roads Western Australia

✓Mine site services for many tier 1 and 2 mining clients, including;

✓LV access roads

✓Main Roads WA Intersections

✓Detailed earthworks including, excavation, trenching, trimming and compaction.

✓Bulk Earthworks
✓5
✓Stormwater management including installation of RC / CSP pipes and culverts

✓Tailings Dams and turkeys nests
✓Typical Equipment to be maintained includes
✓* Dozers – Cat D6 – D10
✓* Loaders – Cat
✓* Excavators – Cat
✓* Graders – Cat – 14/16
✓* Rollers
✓* Water Carts
✓Mobile Plant Mechanic [HD Fitter]
✓Reporting to the Field Services Manager, you will be required to perform diagnostics, as well as planned and reactive maintenance on Centrals fleet
✓This may include.
✓* Oil leak checks and repairs, including, hydraulic hoses, brake lines, engine oil and coolent.
✓* Replacement of park, load, retarder and secondary brake systems
✓* Steering column and ram repairs.
✓* Blade, ripper, teeth, shrouds and bucket lip repair and replacement
✓Skills & Experience:
✓* Minimum of 5 Years’ experience repairing similar equipment
✓* Trade qualified in Heavy Diesel fitting or equivalent
✓* Willing to work on a 2 weeks on, 1 week off FIFO arrangement from Perth to regional Western Australia
✓Remuneration and Benefits:
✓* FIFO position on a 2&2 / 8&6 / 2&1 roster
✓* $150k – 165k + Super
✓* 20 days starting AL, increasing to 25 after 1 years’ service
✓* Visa, flights to Australia, and 28 day temporary accommodation supplied
