PPR CAD-CAM Programmer
Description✓PPR CAD-CAM Programmer - Full Time - Leeds, United Kingdom

✓This is an excellent opportunity to support our business by providing technical drawings for creating machine programs for rotating equipment

✓If you are highly motivated, organised, and a good communicator with a background in pumps and rotating equipment, we would love to hear from you!
✓Your main tasks and responsibilities:
✓Creating and developing technical programs for a range of multi-axis mill-turning machines using Siemens NX and other CAD systems
✓Ensuring optimal tooling and cutting parameters are chosen based on material and set up
✓Produce & control the preparation and issue of: schedules and specifications, calculations, drawings, 3D models
✓Support to other departments on engineering problems associated with equipment repairs
✓Regularly liaise with the other departments to prioritise activities
✓ To succeed in this role, you will need:
✓HNC/Equivalent in Mechanical Engineering
✓Trained in CAD such as Auto CAD or equivalent 2D software
✓A desire to work within our business sector
✓Ability to always remain focused
✓Excellent attention to detail skills
✓Strong communicate skills
✓Relevant experience within related industry including knowledge of industry practices & standards
✓Design and draughting skills
✓SAP experience advantageous
✓Flexibility and ability to adapt to change
✓Ability to travel internationally
