Principal Engineer - Docking & Berthing

✓Plymouth Devonport Royal DockyardThe Energy Division at ARM are currently recruiting an experienced Electrical Engineer to join Nuclear Civil client, to be based out of Plymouth Devonport Royal Dockyard.
✓Some of your duties will include:
✓preparing and/or checking designs, analyses, reports, drawings, specifications and other documents in support of Nuclear and Non-Nuclear related plant, facility and equipment within the company's licensed, authorised and operational sites, or in support of external contracts.
✓Participate in the problem solving for development of technical solutions to deficiencies or in the development of new designs.
✓Support the review and sentencing of new designs, methodology of construction and temporary works submitted to the Technical Authority.
✓Supporting planning of activities, with respect to task duration, level of effort and estimated costs, through to provision of design deliverable with regular schedule reviews and progress reporting, utilising Earned Value Management methodologies, and construction support.
✓Support development, construction, installation, commissioning, operation and maintenance of Facilities to ensure that they comply with the design intent and DNSP's for Nuclear related Works, together with all relevant Local and National Regulations and Legislation.What do you need to succeed?
✓Degree or NHD in an appropriate Engineering discipline
✓Chartered Engineer [Or Working Towards chartership]
✓Nuclear Introductory Course or equivalent and/or marine systems knowledge
✓Knowledge of The Design of electrical Building Services; including fire detection and alarm systems
✓Sound understanding of health & Safety, Design and Quality
✓Must be able to demonstrate relevant knowledge and skills required within technical management.
