Description✓GMP Recruitment are proud to be partnered with a hugely successful, specialist manufacturer located in Bishops Frome
✓We are currently recruiting on their behalf for a Powder Coating Plant Assistant to join their team on a full-time permanent contract.
✓You’ll be supporting the Paint Facility Manager to produce the highest standards and rates of production primarily by loading/unloading items on the paint track and performing other tasks as required.
✓This is a physical role where you will be working with small and lagre production equipment.
✓This is a Monday – Friday position working 08:00am – 17:00pm with a salary on offer up to £24,500 pending experience.
✓This position can offer on the job training, so no experience necessary, however, candidates with manufacturing or industrial experience are encouraged to apply
✓Attitude, a desire to learn and reliability are key factors for success.
✓Powder Coating Plant Assistant main duties:
✓* Preparing items for pre-treatment/powder coating
✓* Manual hanging of items onto the paint track
✓* Manual unloading of painted items and re-stocking shelves
✓* Assisting with the emptying and cleaning of the pre-treatment tanks
✓* Using the in-house computer system to maintain stock control
✓* Carrying out stock take of paint shop stock and monitoring expiry dates
✓* Ensuring that all paint plant records are kept up to date
✓* Maintaining organisation of the workshop
✓* Adhering to company Health and Safety guidelines
✓* Ensuring COSHH legislation is adhered to at all times
✓Powder Coating Plant Assistant required skills:
✓* Be motivated
✓* Good attention to detail
✓* Eager to learn
✓* Strong communicator
✓* Able to work to a consistently high standard
✓* Be able to work on your own and as part of a wider team
