Project Engineer/Manager

✓My client is looking for an experienced project manager/engineer who is looking to be apart of a rapidly growing organisation that is offering excellent career progression and opportunity to take yourself to the next level.
✓Shifts: 8am - 5pm Mon - Thu and 8am - 4pm Fri
✓However, this role will involve extensive time away from home on customer sites.
✓Key Tasks:
✓Commercial:
✓* Meeting the agreed-upon contractual terms and conditions for the job
✓* Managing all relevant disciplines throughout the duration of the contract to ensure that project budgets, programme durations, and technical details are to agreed-upon specifications
✓* Managing budgets for projects and ensuring that as a minimum, projects achieve targeted profitability
✓* Actively promote a team attitude for the benefit of the firm
✓* The role may need you to assist in other areas of the organisation as needed
✓* Communicate technical, commercial, and programming facts to relevant workers.
✓Technical:
✓* To procure materials and labour
✓* To plan works so that labour and material requirements can be allocated in good time
✓* To schedule labour and other resources required
✓* To ensure projects are handled professionally and that all contractors, suppliers, and Moody personnel work with due regard to all CDM and HASAW procedures.
✓* To quote, design [using CAD], and build process and packaging equipment systems to appropriate legal and customer standards.
✓SKILLS & ATTRIBUTES REQUIRED
✓* A knowledge of the hygienic process and packaging industries;
✓* A knowledge of items of capital plant and equipment appropriate to the food, dairy and beverage industries;
✓* A thorough knowledge and experience of all Health & Safety and CDM regulations;
✓* To be able to communicate effectively at all levels – both written and verbal;
✓* To be commercially aware;
✓* To be able to think logically;
✓* Skilled in using AutoCAD;
✓* To be able to prioritise workload and effectively manage time;
✓* Is computer literate including the use of spreadsheets for project estimation and cost tracking and other software utilised in project management [Microsoft Dynamics AX];
✓QUALIFICATIONS
✓* Driving Licence;
✓* GCSE Grades A-C in English and Maths;
✓* Engineering Degree or HND in Engineering or Time served Engineering Apprenticeship Show more →
